We spent five years trying to find a halter that actually fit our bucks and were easy to use. Nothing worked well, so we just made our own. Ours have the same basic design as the traditional show sheep halter, but are bigger and stouter. I personally like how easy they are to take on & off compared to a traditional nylon or rope halter, especially when dealing with an aggressive ram. Plus, with a chain I feel like I have more control when moving them from pen to pen during breeding season.
